Bali (First day)

Bali is an Indonesian island located in the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, lying between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. It is one of the country's 33 provinces with the provincial capital at Denpasar towards the south of the island
 The map of Bali looks like a chicked isn't it ??

For my trip to Bali in the month of November, i found that Bali is a place for everyone. Not only teenagers but also families ~
As recommended by 'cari website' , my bf and i search for a man named 'Komang'  to be our driver there. He is a cute guy and he did explain some culture in Bali to us. On the second and third day, we were brought by his cousin named 'Wayan'. Actually there is some fun within their name and we was told by Komang.

In Bali, most of the Hindu's will named their:
First child --> Wayan
Second child --> Wadi
Third child --> Komang
Fourth child --> Ketut
Fifth child --> ??? goes back to Wayan and so on.....
Is really cute, right?

Back to the places i went:

Uluwatu

Uluwatu Temple (Pura Uluwatu) is one of Bali's nine key directional temples. Though a small temple was claimed to have existed beforehand, the structure was significantly expanded by a Javanese sage, Empu Kuturan in the 11th Century.

The entrance fee is Rp 6,000 (around RM 2-3) and you need to be properly dressed to enter. Sarongs and sashes are available free at the entrance.

The temple is inhabited by large number of monkeys, who are extremely adept at snatching visitors' belonging, including bags, cameras and eyeglasses. Keep a very close grip on all your belongings and stow away your eyeglasses if at all possible. If you do have something taken, the monkeys can usually be induced to exchange it for some fruit. Needless to say, rewarding the monkeys like this only encourages them to steal more. Locals and even the temple priests will be happy to do the job for you, naturally in exchange for a tip (Rp 10,000-50,000,around RM 4 - 15)

Kechara Oasis

Kechara Oasis is one of the most beautiful vegetarian restaurant i had visited in Viva Home located in Cheras.

Kechara Oasis is inspired by H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche who wishes to encourage vegetarianism and making vegetarian diet delicious, appealing and readily available to people. Promoting vegetarianism is promoting non-violence through respecting the lives of all living beings thus creating the causes for a larger vision of promoting world peace, beginning in the community of Petaling Jaya, extending to the nation of Malaysia and across the globe. -- quoted from Kechara Website
